Cosy typical French bistro in the Marais quarter. We had a traditional meal and went for escargots/ duck breast and shrimps/scallops. Price quality ratio was quite good. Not a very spacy place but thats what to expect in the Marais.Relaxed atmosphere with open kitchen. Staff was friendly.
We chose this place as it offers an interesting main course for vegetarians (which can be elusive in most restaurants in Paris). The restaurant itself is very inviting from the outside but once inside the office-like chairs diminish its charm. The staff are attentive and helpful - they cannot be faulted. However the food was very average and disappointing. They serve free canapés on arrival which is a nice touch. Paying a bit more attention to the quality of the food, changing the sector and lighting, would transform the experience into a more positive one.
The ambiance is nice, but the food is average. And the prices suggest more quality. I read good reviews about this restaurant on tourist websites, and I think that’s the whole thing. Only tourists accept this quality for these prices.
